The Minnesota Blast program prides itself on providing its players with the best possible softball experience possible, focusing its philosophies on a highly-energetic, positive and encouraging atmosphere. Surrounded by a committed staff of coaches, Blast players not only improve their skills and knowledge of the game with plenty of rapid repetitions, practices and tournaments, but learn of dedication, success and develop a love for the game. Meet our team of leaders.

TYLER KORBY

Club Director
11th Season

Tyler created and organized the program in 2010 and has guided it ever since, serving as its club director, coach and leader from day one. As a local teacher and high school coach, Tyler is a MSHSL certified coach and owns degrees in Elementary Education and Communications from St. Scholastica and Minnesota-Duluth. He currently resides in Cloquet, MN.

The 33-year old is the ultimate energizer, motivator and has had a hand in all 400 players that have worn a Blast uniform. Tyler has a sincere passion for the game and made an impact in many of his players - many of which have played collegiate athletics at the Division I, II and III levels. Also a former collegiate umpire, Tyler has a keen knowledge of the game and is a fantastic communicator, teacher and enthusiast in building the Blast and its well-known program.
